Following the success of Ciara Sexton’s 20-hour “A Source of Inspiration” event in February, a second instalment returns this weekend.
Hosted alongside world champion and professional Irish dancer Scott Doherty, A Source of Inspiration part two is six hours each day of talks and activities on Zoom, featuring more than 18 different speakers.
The workshops will feature a range of guests including competitive Irish dancers, fitness instructors, show producers, social media stars, and more.
Speaking to Irish Dance Globe ahead of the weekend, Ciara said: “We were just so overwhelmed by the feedback from the last one, we knew we needed to do it again…we still want to motivate and inspire those people who are still on Zoom right now.”
She added: “The main motivation is to connect people, inspire, and share stories, because there are so many stories of failure, success and life lessons in lots of different people’s dance journeys, and for me that’s that most important thing to communicate.”
