20-year-old Irish dancer Joe McGeown, from London, is the subject of the latest video from the documentary series Real Sporting Lives which has also featured other sports including boxing, karate and MMA fighting.
The six minute video, shot by Manchester based videographer William Hartley, covers his dance career and journey to two world champion titles, detailing the setbacks and struggles along the way.
Emphasising his passion for Irish dancing in the video, he says: “The sport is like a drug. No matter how many setbacks you get from injury or a bad result, you always find yourself coming back again and again because it’s what you love to do.”
